GLOO APP UPDATES - 1:1 & PARTNER
MEETING UPDATE 15/10

Following Wednesday night’s meet up, I am hoping things are clear in relation to the booking system moving forward.

👉 Summary of the meeting
Focus was on Group PT with only a small section discussing 1-1 or Partner PT. However, although not all present of course, there was consensus would be better to make the changes sooner rather than later so that normal bookings could resume.

One-On-One and Partner PT Pricing
There is next to no change here -

-
1-1 is £30 (I realise was £29.50) - this simply makes things easier for packs and integration - see later.
-
2-1 is £35

There is to be a package arrangement for PT.
-
5-Pack: £150 and £175 respectively
-
10-Pack: £300 and £350 respectively
-
20-Pack: £600 and £700 respectively
-
PayGo: £30 and £35 respectively

So, very straight forward.
Once purchased you can book them in, cancel (with normal 24hr notice, sorry 12 hours notice not 24) and be recredited to use again. No need to cancel if away, just don't book in.

The challenge is for those accessing cardio, too.
New clients coming in will be purchasing cardio credits (just like the PT credits). This aligns with the changes we've been making.

For things to actually work, there has to be a value assigned to a cardio credit to your cardio. Not the £4 per cardio for the future though. I want to make this as smooth and as easy as I can.

The cardio pack is therefore the lowest it can be - £1 per credit. So for 2 per week, just £2 and for 5 a week, clearly £10. When away, obviously £zero). This seems fair and generous. However, I realise you've been used to not having this as an additional charge.

The challenge with a package is you don't have to use sessions at a twice a week rate but have complete autonomy - hence we need to do this as it is impossible to know whether doing once per week or twice per week or are, in fact, away.
To soften further - once into the new system, we will add a complimentary 20-pack of cardio as a gesture of good will. I hope this helps to ease things through.

I know you don't want too much change. PT is now £35 per 30-mins and Partner PT £45 - new clients coming in on the 10-Week Challenge. I know this doesn't help you.
Despite every outgoing cost we have as a business increasing over the last year, I guess I am hoping you can appreciate we're making sure the business increases income from new clients coming in and not increasing my very much for your loyal support, which we hugely appreciate.

Please note. This is not a recurring payment. You purchase the relevant package. Book ahead and renew whenever you wish to remain ahead in your bookings as you desire.

When away just don't book in - no notice required of course.

There are also a recuring options -
Subscriptions 1x or 2x week.
This is not likely your best option since we can't enable booking ahead beyond your subscription period (i.e. a week) or carrying unused PT over into the following week. But we can keep the cardio access the same as before if you do (2 for once a week and daily for 2x).

The only reason for this change is that continuing as we were limits the ability of the business to be business-like in its operations i.e. trainers not having to remember to assign new credits, the system can't keep track of bookings very well as it stands and sometimes appointments are missed or not put into the system properly as has happened recently.
I hope you can understand and that longer term this does help everyone as a systemised approach, as it will create, is a consistent one, which is what we want.

Finally, once up and running - James has a spreadsheet of any credits you already have and will add these into the system for you. You are not losing any credits already paid for. I hope this is clear.

James will call you too as soon as better (Kidney stones and therefore sickness and pain).

I do appreciate your patience here!
Darren
